experimenting with layout, composition, and palette with the greeting farm’s daniel digi.
I coloured daniel’s hair and skin with photoshop – it was definitely a learning curve getting tone and shade right, not to mention calibrating my silhouette cameo to cut out the images properly. now I can see why some crafters prefer to use traditional rubber stamps and hand inking.
so as I develop a few skills, I’m finding my way through what works for me and what doesn’t. now that I have a plethora of tools and materials to work with, a balance definitely needs to be struck between creating my cards digitally and manually.
luckily, It’s all good fun.
